Biography

Dolores Fonzi was born on July 19, 1978 in Adrogué, Buenos Aires. Her younger brother is Tomás Fonzi. She began her career working as a model in different agencies; in 1996 she made her first television appearance in the series La Nena and Ricos y Famosos. In 1998, Cris Morena chooses her to interpret Clara Vazquez in Verano del ’98 with her brother, who played Benjamin Vazquez.

Thanks to this successful strip and her performance as a villain, she gained great popularity and success. In 1999, she abandons Verano del '98 to join the cast of the film Plata Quemada. She starred the hit series Sangre Fría. After some success, she also began to work behind the scenes as a producer on the miniseries I’m Your Fan. Dolores Fonzi participated in three chapters of Mujeres Asesinas. She interpreted Marcela in the fourth season, also as Rita and Claudia Sobrero.

Dolores Fonzi married famous actor Gael García Bernal in 2009, they have a son named Lázaro and a daughter named Libertad.
