Biography

Go Ah Ra is a Korean actress who was born in Jinju in South Gyeongsang. As the daughter of a soldier, she moved around a lot and had trouble forming lasting relationships due to the constant moving. She auditioned for SM Entertainment in 2003, which got her into the company's Teen Model Contest. She won that contest and signed with the agency, which allowed her to get training in acting, singing and dancing.

She made her debut in 2003 in Sharp #1, and she was asked to reprise her role in Sharp #2, though it wasn't until her performance in the 2006 drama Snow Flower that she made her breakthrough.

Two years later Go Ah Ra was cast in the hit drama Who Are You? and then in 2009 she appeared in Heading to the Ground. She continues to do modeling work, as well.
