Biography
Go Hyun Jung is a Korean actress, talk show host and author who is best known for her starring role in What's Up Fox?. Born in Hwasun, South Jeolla, South Korea, she attended Dongguk University, where she was a Performing Arts major. She first came on the scene after she nearly won the Miss Korea pageant in 1989. She began acting the following year, with her first appearance was on the television series Love on a Jujube Tree in 1990.
Between 1990 and 1995, she acted in another four television shows. In 1995, she got her first big acting break when she took a role in the modern drama series Sandglass. The show was a huge hit, earning fantastic ratings and boosting Go Hyun Jung to the status of a star.
After 1995, she took a break from acting in order to get married and begin raising a family. Unfortunately, her marriage only lasted eight years. In 2005, ten years after her last role, she returned to acting to play a part on the show Spring Days. The following year, she acted in her first movie, Woman on the Beach. That same year, she starred in her first television series, What’s Up Fox?
Since returning to acting, she has filmed several movies, narrated a documentary and started her own talk show. She has also acted in popular series such as Queen Seondeok.
