Biography

Korean Singer, songwriter,, Actor Kim Jae Joong was born on January 26, 1986 in Chungham, South Korea as Han JaeJun. His career began in 2003 as lead vocalist for the South Korean pop group Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK), a position he held until 2009.

Following DBSK's hiatus in late 2009, Jae Joong, two other members of DBSK formed JYJ, have seen musical success in both Japan, Korea. While with DBSK, Jae Joong co-starred with his band mates in the TV series Banjun Theater (2006), the TV program Vacation (2006).

In 2009 he co-starred in the Korean/Japanese film Heaven's Postman (2010), followed by a role in the Japanese TV drama Sunao ni Narenakute (2010). His first recurring series role was in the Korean drama Protect the Boss (2011), garnering him a "New Star Award" at the 2011 Seoul Broadcasting System Drama Awards. Hero Jae Joong is currently starring in the Korean drama series Time Slip Dr. Jin (2012).
