Biography

Dolores Herrera Arranz, better known as Lola Herrera, is a Spaniard actress born in Valladolid on June 30th, 1935. She debuted in musicals but around the 1950s, Dolores traveled to Madrid and started to pave her way as an actress. Dolores debuted in cinema with the movie El Pórtico de La Gloria and later on she married the actor Daniel Dicenta and had two kids with him, Natalia and Daniel.

Natalia participated with her mother in various occasion like in Eva Al Desnudo and Solas. She has won numerous awards throughout her career like Premio Max, Fotogramas de Playa, Antena de Oro, and TP de Oro for Best Actress to name a few. Lola Herrera’s most recent work was in the theater play Querida Matilde.
