Biography

Im Ha Ryong, otherwise known as Im Han Yong, is a Chungcheongbuk-do Danyang native known for his photogenic smile. He was born in 1952 and received theatre training at HangVang University. He is an actor and a comedian.

Im Ha Ryong acted in several TV shows. He is most known for his role in the following programs: The Third Hospital, Me Too, Flower! , More Charming By The Day, Strongest Chil Woo, Over the Rainbow, and Angel’s Kiss.

However, his debut was actually in Pleasant Saturday. Movies that he has played in include Neighbor, My Love Be By My Side, A Woman Who Knows, Good Morning President, Fight, Face, and many more.

He has received many awards for his performances over the years. Some of the most recent ones include the MBC Broadcast Entertainment Variety awards, 14th Republic of Korea Entertainment Arts Development Achievement Award, and the 26th Blue Dragon Films Best Supporting Actor award. Back in 1987 he was most famous for the receipt of the Saving’s Day President’s Award.
