Biography
Im Jae Bum, more often known simply as JB, is a South Korean singer, rapper and actor. He was born on January 6, 1994, and so far his career has been short but incredibly successful. He was originally scouted by JYP Entertainment in Korea. He did the open audition for them, and ended up tying with another singer, named JR. JB and JR would soon go on to form the pop duo JJ Project in 2012.
In 2011 JB began his acting career when he had a tiny role as a backup Dancer on the very popular show Dream High. He then debuted as a singer with JR and their musical project. The band has released two singles so far, and has already become popular with many fans.
After creating his band, JB once again returned to acting. He again played a role on Dream High 2 in 2012. This time, in the second season of the series, JB was given a much larger starring role. The show helped to boost his popularity, improving both his acting and musical careers. JB has also appeared on a few Korean reality shows, including MTV Diary and The Romantic and Idol.
