Biography

Im Ju Hwan is a Korean actor who was born on May 18, 1982. He began acting in theater productions while he was in high school, and found that he loved it. After high school he enrolled at Daejin University, where he studied film and theater. He then began working toward his goal of becoming a professional actor.

He made his acting debut in 2004 when he appeared on the television show Magic. In 2006 he got a large part on the show The Snow Queen. That same year, he acted in his first movie, which was called A Millionaire’s First Love. He also appeared in the extremely popular movie Arang. In 2008, he landed large roles in a movie, called Do Re Mi Fa So La Si Do, and a television series called Single Dad in Love. Both roles were successful and gained him much popularity.

2009 was a breakout year for Ju Hwan. He acted in a movie called Frozen Flower, and also appeared on the fan favorite television series Boys Over Flowers. However, his most important performance was on the show Tamra, the Island. He starred in the historical drama, and was commended for his amazing acting. He continued to make more films and shows before 2011, when he began his mandatory Korean military service.
