Biography
Im Yoon Ah is a Korean Singer, Actress who was born on May 30th, 1990 in Seoul, South Korea. She began performing at an early age,, in 2002, she auditioned in an open casting call by SM Entertainment. Following her audition, she trained with SM Entertainment until she was selected to join a girl’s musical group, called Girls’ Generation, in 2007. The group has been highly successful,, has released three full length albums, four EPs, one live album.
In addition to singing, Yoon Ah has cultivated a strong acting career. She began appearing in music videos in 2004, but got her biggest breaks in 2007, when she acted in two shows. One, called Girls’ Generation Go to School, featured her band while the other, 9 Ends 2 Outs, allowed her to act freely away from her musical career. The following year, she acted in three other television series. Between 2008, 2012, she was featured in five other television shows, including Cinderella Man, Family Outing. She has also continued to appear in music videos, make appearances on many variety shows. In addition, she sometimes MCs for shows or awards ceremonies.
