Biography

Jang Yong has been appearing in one TV show after another since 1995. He was born in Korea in 1945 and received his education at the Seoul National University and the Hanyang University. He concentrated primarily on the performing arts and his specialty is singing.His debut performance was in the TBC Bonds production. Since then, he showed up in many memorable roles.

Television shows he acted in include Golden Time, You Rolled in Unexpectedly, Miss Ripley, Pasta, Cain and Abel, Air City, Full House, Crush, and West Palace.

The movie that Jang Yong is most remembered for is Indian Summer. During his life, he also was recognized as the 2nd honorary ambassador.

Surprisingly, in spite of his extensive record of regular TV performance, he has no records of receiving awards and honors. Still, he is well-known nationally and internationally in many artistic circles. He has definitely established a name for himself and has made a comfortable living as a TV actor.
