Ji Hyun Woo is a Korean actor and musician who was born Joo Hyung Tae. He first began acting in 2002, when he was on the variety show Comedy House and also the television show School Stories. He continued to take small parts on television shows, as well as acted in his first movie, The Hotel Venus, in 2004.

Also a musician, in 2004, Ji Hyun Woo and two friends formed indie rock band The Nuts, in which he plays lead guitar. So far, the band has released five albums. He has also appeared on one of the albums of the Korean rock band Moonchild.

In 2004, Ji Hyun Woo acted in the television series Old Miss Diary. When a film version of the show was created two years later, he acted in that as well. He went on to play the lead role in the television series Golden Apple in 2005, and the next year he starred in the show Over the Rainbow. After a few other television appearances, he was cast to play a large role on the television show Invincible Lee Pyung Kang and also starred in the film Attack the Gas Station 2. Since then, he has gone on to take important roles in three more television shows.
