Biography

Although the extremely talented Jo Sung Ha only recently shot to stardom, he started acting while in high school. After realizing that he had talent well participating in his high school's drama club, he decided to pursue the craft as a profession. He graduated from the Seoul Institute of the Arts in 1985 with a degree in Drama.

Jo Sung Ha has a background in musical theater and has appeared in West Side Story and Don Quixote. His film credits include: The Five Million Dollar Man, Spider Forest, The Peter Pan Formula, The Executioner, and Flame of Desire. He can also be seen in the television drama Hanbando. He is currently the most sought after actor over the age of 40.

His loyalty made him refuse to part ways with his long time manager (who’s been representing him since the 1980s) once he became famous. Ever humble, Jo Sung Ha continually turns down offers to do promotions and product campaigns to stay focused on his craft and true love: acting. Despite his accomplishments, Jo Sung Ha considers himself an actor instead of a star and looks forward to creating an even more prolific body of work in the future.
