Biography

Kang Dong Won is a Korean actor who was born on January 18, 1981 in Busan, South Korea. He was recruited by a modeling agency after an agent spotted his good looks as he walked down the street. His successful modeling career soon gave him the option to pursue a serious career in acting. In 2003 he appeared on the television show Country Princess. Later that year he starred in the very popular show One Percent of Anything.

In 2004 he appeared on the television show Magic. He also acted and starred in his first film Too Beautiful to Lie. That same year he starred in a second film called Temptation of Wolves. The movie was based on a popular online comic, and attracted a large fan following. The film, and his acting, was so popular with fans and critics that he became an instant star.

After 2004, he acted in another eight movies. In each movie, he played one of the lead roles. The films included a wide range of genres, making him accessible to a wider range of fans. Movies such as Duelist, Jeon Woo Chi, Secret Reunion, and Haunters were all very popular with fans.

In between acting, he continues his education. After graduating with honors in the technical engineering field from Hanyang University, he began attending Sangmyung University, where he is majoring in film.
