Biography

Kang Min Hyuk is a notable South Korean actor, singer and drummer. He was born in Ilsan, South Korea. He got his beginnings training in bass technology at the FNC academy, where he became the drummer and backup vocalist of the popular band CN Blue. The band took off, and gave him a number of opportunities, including a foray into acting. Although his relative popularity with his band won him the role in the film Acoustic, he exhibited extraordinary talents during his acting debut, and was given another role almost right away. This time the role was on television, in SBS' 2010 program, It's Okay, Daddy's Girl.

Min Hyuk was later given a role in the MBC drama Heartstrings, as Yeo Jun Hee. This role was again alongside Jung Yong Hwa, the leader of his band, CN Blue. The role gave him enough notoriety and popularity to land him another part in the 2012 KBS drama My Husband’s Got a Family, where he played Cha Se Kwang, the playboy brother of the show's protagonist. When he is not making music or acting on television, Min Hyuk often promotes products, including the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, among others.
