Biography

Kim Bum is a Korean actor who was born Kim Sang Beom on July 7th, 1989 in Seoul, South Korea. He entered an audition contest in his teen years, and advanced well. Unfortunately, he was too young to win the contest, but the competition gained him much notice from acting agencies.

His acting career started in 2006 when he acted on the television show called Rude Women. He then acted on the popular show Unstoppable High Kick the same year. In 2007, he appeared in his first movie, Hellcats. In 2008, his career got a huge boost when he had large roles in the fan favorite show East of Eden and the movie Death Bell.

In 2009, he followed up on his success when he acted in the show Boys Over Flowers. The show was based on a popular manga, or Japanese comic, and enjoyed a great deal of success. His large role on the show helped to boost him into stardom. The same year, he took the starring role in the film Flight. He also starred in the television show Dream.

In 2010 and 2011, he acted in large roles on two other television shows. He now has plans for a new movie, to be released in 2013.
