Biography

Kim Ha Neul is a Korean Actress who was born on February 21st, 1978 in Seoul, South Korea. She knew from a fairly early age that she was destined to have a career in acting. Because of this, she went to the Seoul Institute of Arts, studied cinema. She also began looking for acting work as soon as she was able to.

In 1998, she made her acting debut in the movie Bye June. The following year, she was in another movie, also had parts on two television series. Then, in 2000, she got a big break when she was chosen to star in a romantic science fiction film called Ditto. The following year, she took a part on a television series called Piano, for which she won an SBS Drama Award for best Actress.

Between 2002, 2011, she continued to act as much as possible. She had roles on six television shows, acted in nine films. Her most recent television series, A Gentleman’s Dignity, which was released in 2012, has gained her an even larger fan following. The show features several other Korean stars, has been a huge success with viewers.
