Biography

Kim Ja Ok is a Actress whose career has spanned from the 1970s to the present day. Born in Busan, she was recruited by the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation out of Hanyang University, where she studied film.

Kim Ja Ok began her career in 1975 with A Common Woman, and has since appeared in titles such as A Woman After a Killer Butterfly, The Woman on the Ferris Wheel and High Kick Through The Roof. Ja Ok is also a four-time winner of the PaekSang Arts Award, winning twice for Best Film Actress in 1976 and 1979, once for Best TV Actress in 1975, and voted as the Readers' Favorite TV Actress in 1975. Kim Ja Ok most recently guest starred in the first episode of the second season of High Kick!, playing herself.
