Biography

Kim Joo Hyuk is a South Korean actor, born October 3, 1972 and active from the late 1990s to the present day. A graduate of Dongguk University with a degree in Theater and Film, he made his debut on TV with the series Letters Written on a Cloudy Day and KAIST.

Other titles include When Romance Meets Destiny, Lovers in Prague, and a stint as the host of the pilot episode of Saturday Night Live Korea in 2011. Some of the awards given to Kim Joo Hyuk over his career include the 2006 Baeksang Arts Award for Best TV Actor, the 2005 SBS Drama Award for Top Excellence in Acting, and the 2008 Blue Dragon Award for Best Couple (shared with Son Ye-jin).

He also received the Best Dressed of the Year in 2005. He most recently appeared in God of War as Kim Jun. Kim Joo Hyuk stands at 5' 11 (180 cm) and weighs 154 lbs (70 kg). His Zodiac astrological sign is Libra, and he was born in the Chinese Year of the Rat.
