Biography

Kim Jung Nan is a popular actress and DJ from South Korea. Born on July 16, 1971 under the name Kim Hyeon Ah, she later took the stage name of Kim Jung Nan. The actress has had a rich and varied career, dating back to 1992 when she played a small role on the show Tomorrow Love. Her career did not truly pick up until 2001, when she landed a breakout role in Fox and Cotton Candy, a love story. She played the protagonist's widowed sister, and quickly accumulated some critical acclaim. The show functioned as a launch pad for her career. In the next five years, Kim Jung Nan was on ten different daytime and primetime television programs playing a variety of rules.

As time went by, her roles became larger and larger. Now she is in the main cast on two different programs, Bridal Mask and A Gentleman's Dignity. Kim Jung Nan has also enjoyed a movie career, playing roles in 2008's Baby and I as well as Santamaria. The actress' acclaim is only building with time. In 2008 she won a KBS Drama Award for excellence in her role in the daytime television program You Are My Destiny.
