Biography
Kim Kyu Jong first stepped on the scene as a popular member of the boy band SS501 in 2005. After the band catapulted to fame, he made his musical debut as the lead character of Lee Shin in Goong: Musical. His unique vocals also led him to be cast as the voice of Clam in the Korean version of Pi's Story in 2006. In 2007 he made various cameo appearances with his band SS501 on dramatic television shows like Spotlight and Hotelier. Kim Kyu Jong also had a serious acting role as the character Ho Sik in the television sitcom series SET! (Searching for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence) in 2009. Two years later in 2011 he starred as Jun Su on an episode called Never Ending Love for the drama Pianissimo. Currently fans can see him on the television show Saving Madame Go Bong Shi as the character Nicky.
With a strong passion for acting and singing, Kim Kyu Jong has never stopped creating music despite his many acting roles. In 2011 he released his first solo record called Turn Me On through his record label B2M Entertainment. Kim Kyu Jong is credited as being an accomplished actor, singer, model, Dancer, and DJ/MC.
