Biography

Kim Min Jong is a popular Korean Actor, as well as a talented, admired Singer. He was born on March 23rd, 1971 in Seoul, South Korea. He developed a love of performing at a young age. He began taking small roles in movies as early as 1990, when he was only nineteen years old.

His talent as an Actor began to be noticed by fans, critics in 1996, when he received the award for most popular Actor from the Blue Dragon Film Awards. During that year, he had acted in both a television series, two movies. Prior to that, however, he had been building his acting resume. Between 1990, 1995, he acted in eleven films, three television series.

As his popularity grew, he was able to take more roles, in both film, television. He acted in the popular Guardian Angel television series in 2001. He also played roles in films such as The Beauty in Dream, Romantic Assassins. However, it is some of his most recent work in television that has become his most recognizable. He has played roles on the popular shows The Return of Iljimae, Athena: Goddess of War, A Gentleman’s Dignity. In addition, he is a member of the two piece musical group The Blue.
