Biography

With his excellent, exciting acting on television shows such as Damo and Romance Town and in movies such as Never to Lose, Kim Min Joon has gained a reputation as a notable Korean actor. He is one of the few actors who can play both villains and romantic leads well. He was born on August 24, 1976. He began his career as a model, and, as his popularity grew, made the transition into acting.

2003 was the first year that he began acting. That year, he had a small role in a movie called A Man Who Went to Mars. He was also lucky enough to secure the starring role on the television show series Damo, which was a hit not just in South Korea, but around the world. In 2005, he took on an important character on the show Lovers in Prague, which was the second part of a three season trilogy.

The movie A Love was his next big role. It told the story of a teenager who risks everything to protect his girlfriend. The movie’s poignant love story attracted many fans, and made him an idol to many viewers. In 2011, he played parts in two movies and the television show Romance Town. He also has two new movies and a show planned for release in 2012.
