Biography

As an actor, Kim Sung Soo has not always chosen the most popular films or television series to act in. However, no matter what he appears in, his characters are always highly praised and garner a great fan following. He was born in South Korea on May 23, 1973. He began acting when he was twenty-five, in 1998.

His first role was on the television show Vectorman: The Satan Empire’s Counterattack, and did not win him too much attention. After a few years, in 2003, he appeared in his first movie, a somewhat risqué film called The Sweet Sex and Love. He then moved on to bigger things with the show Full House, which was based on a Korean comic, in 2004. His role was a large one and the show became very popular, ensuring that he was soon seen as a star. That same year, he found himself with another large role, this time on the television series Stained Glass.

His next starring role was in a horror movie, called The Red Shoes. Then, after a few television show and film roles, he took on another lead part in the 2007 show Bad Love. In 2010, he acted on the well-loved show More Charming by the Day. In 2012, he continues to act in shows and movies, and also makes appearances on various variety shows.
