Biography
Kwon Sang Woo is a Korean actor who was born on August 5th, 1976 in Daejeon, South Korea. He attended Hannam University and earned a degree in education. However, his real passion has always been in performing and acting. He began his career as a model in the late 1990s, and was in high demand due to his physique. He also began appearing in music videos. Then, in 2001, he landed his first two acting jobs, in three television shows and a movie, called Volcano High.
In 2002, he was able to star in his first movie, called Make It Big. He followed up that success by acting as one of the leads in the film My Tutor Friend in 2003. The film was a big hit with viewers, and helped to gain him a large and loyal fan following. The same year, he played one of the lead roles on the television show Stairway to Heaven.
After appearing in three more television shows and six films, he appeared in the film 71: Into the Fire, which was big success. The same year, he also acted in a very popular television show, called Daemul. In 2012, he continues his career by acting in two movies and a television show, with strong plans for future appearances.
