Biography

Lee Da Hae is a Korean actress and model who was born Byun Da Hye on April 19th, 1984 in Seoul, South Korea. She attended high school in Australia, where she lived with her family during her teen years. Then, she returned to South Korea to study at Konkuk University and pursue an acting career.

She first began acting in 2002, when she appeared on the television show Ling Ling/Ring Ring. Between 2002 and 2003, she acted in small parts in another three shows. Then, in 2004, she got some big breaks in her acting career. First, she was cast in a small role on the television show Sweet 18, which became popular with fans. Later that year, she was cast in a much larger role on the television show Star’s Echo. The role helped her gain a loyal fan following.

In 2008, after appearing on another five television shows, she landed a large role on the very popular show East of Eden. Unfortunately, due to a heavy work schedule and health problems, she was forced to quit the show after forty episodes. Still, this didn’t slow her down for long. In 2009, she began acting in films, and also appeared on popular shows such as Chuno. Her future plans include a highly anticipated show, IRIS 2, in 2013.
