Biography
Lee Hong Ki is a Korean actor and singer who was born on March 2, 1990. He began his performance career when he was only twelve years old, when he appeared as one of the main characters on the television show Magic Kid Masuri. He then appeared in two other television shows in 2004 and 2005, and his first movie, Winter Child in 2005. He appeared in Kangsooni, and performed a song for the show’s soundtrack. He enjoyed singing and performing so much that he decided to split his career and become a musician as well as an actor.
In 2007, he joined the boy musical group F.T. Island. He is the lead singer for the group. Since 2007, the band has released four full length albums and five EPs.
In 2009 he was given a large role on the popular show You’re Beautiful, which helped to boost his acting career. In 2012 he acted in another film, called Heaven. He also appears frequently on variety shows and also acts in musicals.
