Biography

Lee Ji Ah was born in 1978 in South Korea. Her family moved to California when she was very young, providing her with a blend of cultures that enabled her to understand both worlds. She married Korean singer, Seo Taiji in 1997, went to design school, and eventually earned a bachelor's degree in art and design. She began a career as a model and actress. The Legend (2007) was her first Korean television series. She worked steadily on the small screen in Beethoven Virus, Style,Athena: Goddess of War, and Me Too, Flower!

One of her claims to fame is her marriage. It’s considered quite a scandal since it was kept a secret until after their break-up in 2009, she and her ex-husband made quite a scene in the K-Pop world. She was involved in legal action against Seo Taiji while also tangled up in a relationship with one of her co-stars, Jung Woo Sung. Only time will tell where her next project will take her but Korean viewers are sure to have an interest in a woman who brought a taste of Hollywood to their world.
