Biography
Lee Shi Un was born Lee Bo Yeon on July 3, 1982 in Busan, South Korea. Since moving into the acting field in 2009 he has captured the rapt attention of Korean audiences with his top-notch acting techniques. He is a talent to watch out for on the international stage.
In 2009, Lee Shi Un began working as the character Kim Joong Ho in the series Friend, Our Legend. In it, his compelling style helped propel the series toward the top of the ratings in the Korean market. With the success of Friend, Our Legend, he has gone on to star in five other Korean series.
Perhaps the most notable series for him was Warrior Baek Dong Soo, a martial arts drama series set in the Joseon Dynasty of Korea during the reign of King Jeongjo. In Warrior Baek Dong Soo, he plays the sinister Crown Prince Sado, opposite the lead role.
Lee Shi Un's most recent series have served to cement his reputation as a darkly dramatic stage presence. While Warrior Baek Dong Soo may have provided Lee with his most notable dark character yet, it isn't likely to be the last we'll see of this exciting Actor.
