Biography

Beatriz Luengo is a Spaniard composer, actress, ballerina, and entrepreneur born in Madrid on December 23rd, 1982. Since she was a little girl, Beatriz has been involved in the world of entertainment. She debuted in the Teatro Lope de Vega with the play Peter Pan when she was 15 years old. From here on she participated in plays like La Magia de Broadway, Jeckyll and Hide, Hermano de Sangre, and Grease to name a few. Beatriz Luengo debuted in a featured film called Pasión Adolescente in the year 2000.

She participated in the successful television series Un Paso Adelante and soon after became part of the musical group Upa Dance based on this series. Here, Beatriz was the main singer and the group sold over 950,000 records. Her first solo album called Mi Generacíon came out in spring 2005 and it was well received by the public. Since then her career skyrocketed. Beatriz Luengo became the director of her own dance school in Madrid and got nominated for a Grammy Latino 2012 for the Best Pop Album, which sold over 1,000,000 records in Europe.
