After two slightly confusing episodes, the Mischievous Kiss that I fell for is back! With only two episodes left for our OTP to get together, plus the conflict we get in this episode, I'm starting to wonder whether there will be enough time for that to happen. Does this mean a second season is coming?! Who knows.... Anyway, I felt that episode 14 began and ended on two extremes. The first half was super fun and light with all the unlikely stalker trio, while the last half was more on the serious side of love. Starting with the first half, what's this with Kotoko and Yuko suddenly being best friends?! And here I am thinking that Yuko's gone from the picture, only to find her back with a kick. Also, she seems to be voicing out my thoughts pretty accurately. Screen Shot 2013-07-09 at 5.23.34 PM Exactly! Why now? And why is she so perfect? To spice things up just a little bit more maybe? Screen Shot 2013-07-09 at 5.37.08 PM LOL. So true. Nevertheless, she volunteered to team up with Kotoko to stalk on Naoki's omiai. Not a very smart choice for a Yuko, I must say. You know, considering Kotoko's 'skill' in stalking..  Even until the very end of the series, Stalking 101 still plays a big part. It is one of the distinctive main themes that comes up now and then. I actually think by far this is the most enjoyable one! Probably due to the unlikely trio of Irie-mama, Kotoko and Yuko. Screen Shot 2013-07-09 at 5.22.10 PM As always, Irie-mama's devilish look at the start didn't live up to expectations. She looked really evil that it got me thinking 'Hmm, maybe she does have something good in mind this time". WRONG. Her plans are still as silly as ever. Screen Shot 2013-07-09 at 5.25.55 PM Screen Shot 2013-07-09 at 5.26.20 PM Screen Shot 2013-07-09 at 5.27.43 PM Screen Shot 2013-07-09 at 5.28.22 PM At least this time they kinda 'blend in' with the garden... I was laughing out loud at everything they did. Especially at scenes where Yuko was complaining but still followed all Kotoko's stupid commands, whoops, I mean 'strategies'. Let's not forget Irie-mama and her sharp tounge, even sharper and more inappropriate than Naoki's. Now we know where he got that trait from. Too bad even with all those nasty comebacks of Irie-mama towards Sayoko, the plan didn't go as our stalking team expected. Naoki is still going with the omiai! Moving on to the next half, I now fully realize how mean, confusing, and inhuman Naoki really is. I'm starting to doubt his feelings towards Kotoko (Furukawa Yuki's acting is that good. Excuse my biasness). Therefore, instead of focusing on Naoki, I shall talk more about Kin-chan. If I'm not mistaken, in the comments of Heisui's review I read about Kin-chan asking Kotoko out and how that's a bit too late. It's giving us hope for the two to end up together, but then there are only two episodes left (again, hoping for a second season!). I also like how Kin-chan was sooo awkward when asking Kotoko out on a date, LOL. That was cute. His happy expression after scoring a date with Kotoko was also awkwardly cute!

Episode 15 is titled, 'Sayonara, Irie-kun!' aka Goodbye, Irie-kun. What do you think will happen? Will Kotoko finally give up? Or is the title yet another decoy (like Rosie mentioned i.e. Kotoko saying she's giving up on Naoki but not doing so)?

Mischievous_Kiss_15_a I'm looking forward to Kotoko having so much fun on her date with Kin-chan. <3

Question: What's your impression on Sayoko as the new rival? Too perfect? Do you think she'll make any noticeable impact on Naoki and Kotoko's relationship?

Fun fact: from the preview looks like the Irie Naoki (Kashiwabara Takashi) from 1996 Itazura na Kiss is making a cameo next episode. Seems like he's Dr Irie now. How awesome is that!
