HEIRS SORTING HAT: If Jeguk High was Hogwartson Fri, Dec 06, 2013
I couldn't help but notice the other day that many of the Jeguk High students in Heirs had distinct features unique to Hogwarts students. Can't you just imagine some of them in certain Houses already?
So before we begin, here's the Sorting Hat song from 1994 to remind you of the different Houses and their personality traits:
"By Gryffindor, the bravest were
Prized far beyond the rest;
For Ravenclaw, the cleverest
Would always be the best;
For Hufflepuff, hard workers were
Most worthy of admission;
And power-hungry Slytherin
Loved those of great ambition."
Now let the Sorting begin!
Kim Tan: Gryffindor
Maybe he started out with Slytherin tendencies, but it's clear that in his heart of hearts, Tan is a lion. He's loyal (well, until he can't be anymore), he's loving, and he's (usually) morally inclined to do the right thing. Not to mention Tan is brave in his bones, standing up to his parents and peers alike for the girl he loves.
Cha Eun Sang: Gryffindor
Eun Sang stands up for others, has a compassionate heart, and boldly speaks up for her beliefs. She may not be "pure-blood" like the others in the school, but she's determined to make the best of the situation for herself and her mother.
Choi Young Do: Slytherin
Is this one too obvious? Young Do is as "pure-blood" as they get, snubbing the social care class students and even Tan because his mother is a mistress. Undoubtedly his tragic past and crazy father taught him to survive through relentless self preservation.
Rachel Yoo: Slytherin/Ravenclaw
She's sly and does whatever it takes to get to the top. For that, she's undeniably Slytherin. It's too easy to just toss all antagonists into the same House though, so I'm offering Ravenclaw as another viable option. Rachel is, after all, one of the best in her class!
Yoon Chan Young: Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw
Sweet Chan Young is patient, considerate, hardworking, and fair. He is simple and honest with others and despite his relatively humble background, he harbors no deep ill-will or resentment towards others, which makes him a good Hufflepuff. However, Chan Young is also class president, earns the best grades, and is the smart voice of reason and logic to many characters, which shows his perfect Ravenclaw side.
Lee Bo Na: Gryffindor
While she may have started off in the series as a selfish rich girl, it becomes quickly apparent that while loud and demanding, Bo Na has a good heart and steady morals. Initially spurred on by Chan Young, Lee Bo Na stands up for Eun Sang numerous times, sometimes even risking herself in the line of fire. Bo Na has firm beliefs and boldly (and loudly) stands up for them.
Jo Myun Soo: Hufflepuff
Quirky, friendly, and always the mediator, Myun Soo belongs in Hufflepuff. He is also one of the least competitive characters in the series, despite his parents being topnotch lawyers, which makes him the perfect Hufflepuff!
Lee Hyo Shin: Hufflepuff
While his parents are overbearing, Hyo Shin is the opposite. Always in his own world floating about, Hyo Shin is calm, cool, collected, and unbiased.
Kim Won: Slytherin
He's not in high school anymore, but if he were, Kim Won might be Slytherin. Throughout most of the series, Won is relentlessly reaching for control over Jeguk Group. In the process, he has alienated himself from his loved ones and pushed everyone around him out. He is cold and calculating, though towards the end of the series Won becomes more human and Gryffindor-like.
Jeon Hyun Joo: Ravenclaw
She is also no longer in high school, but if she were, Hyun Joo would definitely be Ravenclaw! Studying is all she knows and all she has; Hyun Joo relies on her smarts for her very livelihood.
