NEW DRAMA ALERT: 6 shows coming soon to DramaFever!
It's that time again--a round of shows is ending, and new ones are all lined up to take their place. But what should you watch next? Here are some overviews of DramaFever's upcoming shows to help you make an informed decision:
Replacing: The Prime Minister and I
Overview: This crime melodrama follows the tangled, twisted fate of a troubled con man and a beautiful jewel heiress. Both have tragic pasts that are inextricably connected.
Bonus: Those who had second lead syndrome in Greatest Love can enjoy a whole lot more of Yoon Kye Sang here. Of course, you have to be prepared for some serious tears.
Overview: In this fantasy drama exclusive to DramaFever, Le Hong Ki stars as the heir to the powerful conglomerate Taeyang Corporation. Unfortunately, his family suffers from a 100-year-old curse where the bride of the firstborn son always dies. When his intended bride suddenly disappears before the wedding, the family conspires to replace her with a lookalike.
Bonus: Lee Hong Ki is more than enough to spark interest, but the creepy fantasy horror vibe is extra intriguing.
Replacing: Miss Korea
Overview: A woman schemes to win back her ex-husband when she discovers that he has become wealthy after their divorce. Meanwhile, he schemes to get revenge on the petty ex-wife who wronged him. Romantic comedy hijinks ensue!
Bonus: Joo Sang Wook's nerd makeover, including a hilarious bowl cut.
4. Three Days
Overview: In this action thriller, Yoochun plays a presidential bodyguard who has only three days to find the president when he disappears amidst gunshots at his villa. This big-budget drama has been touted as the Korean version of 24.
Bonus: In order to prepare for the action scenes, the lead had to undergo training. Does this mean he's even more beefed up than usual? Can we hope for a shirtless scene, perhaps?
Replacing: One Warm Word
Overview: A woman's life is shattered when her daughter is kidnapped and murdered. Finding a way to travel back in time to exactly two weeks before the event, she tries to solve the murder and save her daughter.
Bonus: Fans of Kpop group B1A4 will be happy to see Baro appearing in his second drama as the daughter's best friend.
Replacing: Can We Love?
Overview: This passionate drama follows the director of an art foundation and her romance with a talented pianist twenty years younger than her. Scandalous!
