Biography

Oh Yun Soo is a Korean actress who is best known for her work in historical dramas. Growing up in Seoul, she knew she wanted to become an actress early on, and after attending some well known schools, such as Anyang Art High School and DanKook University, she debuted in 1990, playing the lead role in Eyes of Dawn. Her roles tend to be set in a time of Korean history that is dominated by warlords and the threat of Chinese occupation.

Oh Yun Soo has played many excellent supporting roles throughout the past decade and a half, including in the popular series Jumong, also known as The Book of the Three Hans. In this series she plays Lady Yoo Hwa, Princess of the Hae Baek tribe. A convincing and passionate actress, her entire presence becomes the role she is playing at that very moment.
