Biography

Park Jin-young is a Korean actor from Seoul. An entrepreneur with a diverse and illustrious career, Jin-young is also a singer, song writer, composer, Dancer, and record label CEO. His career started as a musician in 1992 with the group “Park Jin-Young and the New Generation”. He went solo in 1994 and released the successful album Blue City featuring the hit song Don’t Leave Me.

In addition to making seven of his own albums, he founded the record label JYP Entertainment, which manages many young Korean artists including the Wonder Girls, who toured with the American band The Jonas Brothers. He started his acting career in 2011, receiving a nomination for the New Actor of the Year at the Baek Sang Arts Awards for his role in Dream High. Jin-young recently made his film debut in The Five Million Dollar Man (2012). In 2008 He worked with legendary actor Jackie Chan to form the I Love Asia project in response to a massive Earthquake in China.
