Biography
Park Ye Jin was born April 1st, 1981 in Seoul, South Korea. She made her acting debut in 1999 in the horror film Memento Mori. She has appeared in both supporting and leading roles in a total of twelve TV series, her most famous being What Happened in Bali (SBS 2004), Hateful But Once Again (aka Once Again My Love)(KBS2 2009), and I Love Lee Tae-ri (tvN 2012).
The part that made her truly famous was her role in the variety show Family Outing (SBS 2008-2009). It was in this role that she earned the nickname “sweet, yet scary Ye-jin”. She has also starred in a total of ten movies the latest being 2012's Zhi Sha (aka Stop Killing) where she was cast Genghis Khan's wife Khulan.
She seems to keep her personal life pretty quiet although she was reported to have been dating Park Hee Soon in March of 2011. The two are eleven years apart and Park Ye-Jin switched to the management agency to which Park Hee Soon belongs shortly after they started dating. They were rumored to be considering marriage but the rumors quieted down after Hee Soon told the press that the rumors about marriage were pressuring him.
