Biography

Park Yong Ha was a South Korean actor and singer. He was born on August 12, 1977. He began acting in 1997 when he played Min Hyung on the show The Song of Hope. In 1998, he appeared in his first movies, which were called If It Snows on Christmas and Island of Women.

After his first acting appearances, he received large or leading roles in the next four shows he acted in, which included Snowflakes and Well Known Woman. In 2002, he played one of the leads on the romantic show Winter Sonata. The show was the second installment in a four part series that already had a huge fan following. His role on the show lifted him into stardom. That same year he starred in another popular show called Loving You.

In 2003, he began singing songs for soundtracks. In 2004 he released his first album and singles, and was soon considered to be a musical sensation as well as a talented actor. In 2008, after doing concert tours, he starred on the show On Air. Then, in 2009, he starred in a television show and a movie called The Scam.

In 2010, on June 30, Park Yong Ha committed suicide. He was 32 years old. He will be remembered by his fans for the music he created and wonderful acting he displayed.
