Biography
Ryu Si Won is a South Korean actor and singer. He was born on October 6, 1972. He made his debut on television in 1994 in the show Feeling. He attained notoriety in Japan after 2001’s Beautiful Days. He has studied photography and directed the photo diary 24 Hours with Ko Soo with his fellow actors. He has released over 12 albums, most of which have reached top ten statuses.
In 2005 he received Most Popular Award at the 47th Nippon Record Awards, and New Artist of the Year at the 19th Nippon Gold Disk Awards. In 2000 he won MBC Best Actor Award. 1999 Saw him win TV Most Popular Award at the 35th Paeksang Arts Awards. He has also received many KBS Awards including: Best Actor in 1998, Most Popular Actor in 1998 and 1997 and Best New Actor in 1996.
He has appeared on the television programs Goodbye Wife, Noriko Goes to Seoul, Hancho, Style, Joshi Deka! , Dondo Bare, Koi no Kara Sawagi Drama Special Love Stories II, Wedding, She is Cool, Sunshine, Since We Met, Beautiful Days, Secret, Honesty, Paper Crane, Purity, Until the Last Day, Mr. Right, Propose, and A Happiness is in Our Hearts.
