Biography

Shin Hyun Joon is a Korean actor who is known for both his great acting abilities, and photography skills in music videos, as well as his charities and the time he takes to volunteer and support those who are less fortunate. He was born in Seoul, South Korea, on October 28, 1968. He went to Yonsei University, where he studied athletics. However, after college, he began a career as an actor instead. His first role was a starring one, in the film General’s Son in 1990.

In 1995, he took on his first television role, on the show Sons of the Wind. In 2000, he starred in the romantic martial arts film Bichunmoo. The movie was a huge production, but paid off when it won fans over. His role in the movie helped to make him much more popular, as well. He followed up on his success with the romantic television show Stairway to Heaven in 2003.

In 2006 he played the starring role of a mentally challenged man in the fun but emotional movie Barefoot Ki-bong. In 2009, he took a role on the show Cain and Abel, and was able to use his own religious roots to help his acting. He then appeared on the very popular show Bridal Mask in 2012.
