Biography
From an early age, Song Yoon Ah was all about the arts. Born in 1973 she spent her younger years learning the ways of the world in the small, yet bustling city of of Gimcheon. Her childhood home would later become a metaphor for her career. The city where so many roads pass through, eventually led her into roles as a model, singer and actress.
While getting her degree in humanities at Hanyang University, she debuted on the KBS drama, Age of Individuality at the tender age of 18. However, she would not gain widespread fame until several years later on the MBC show Hotelier.
Following a successful career as one of Korea's celebrated stars, Song Yoon Ah took a small break to celebrate her marriage and the birth of a lovely baby. She then returned as a judge for the famed, Korea's Got Talent. She continues to share her industry expertise by lecturing at the Korean Central Academy of Fine Arts.
Her youthful good looks and playful persona make her a celebrated icon throughout the media, yet she remains capable of keeping both feet planted firmly on the ground, maintaining a stable balance between stardom and family.
