Biography

Sung Dong Il is a Korean actor who never ceases to delight his fans with his charisma and acting talent. He first began acting in 1998, on the television show Eun Shil. In 2002, after having relatively large roles on two other television shows, he acted in Glass Slippers, and the show was a huge hit, bringing his acting to the attention of fans and critics.

In 2004, he landed a role in Lovers in Paris, which was part of a three-part series that garnered critical acclaim and was loved by fans. The year 2006 saw him with a large role on the show I Want to Love. From then on, he continued to be featured in hit shows, including Blue Fish, New Heart and The Lawyers of the Great Republic Korea. Then, in 2010, he was cast in the extremely popular period drama Chuno. His acting was so excellent that he won the Best Supporting Actor award at the KBS Drama Awards.

Sung Dong Il followed his success with roles on popular shows over the next two years. He appeared in shows such as My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox, Can’t Lose and Answer Me 1997.
