Biography
Sung Yu Ri is a Korean Singer, Actress who has become very popular with her fans. She was born on March 3rd, 1981 in Tubingen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. She was mostly raised in South Korea, however,, during a school field trip in 1998 she was discovered, asked to join the girl pop band Fin.K.L. The group released four albums together between 1998, 2005. Although they never officially split up, the band has not released any new music since 2005.
During her time with her band, she also began working at her acting career. She first appeared on a television show Bad Girls in 2002. After her first acting job, she appeared in three more television shows. In 2004, she was able to play one of the lead roles on the show First Love of a Royal Prince. The popularity of the show helped to boost her status as Korean star.
Since 2004, Yu ri has acted in six more television series, in three films, including Runway Cop. Her newest television show, Feast of the Gods, has a fun but supernatural setting. She is again playing one of the lead roles. The show has already become popular with fans.
