"shut the mouth!" hehe i must say i am biased here. i really like investigation TV Series. this is good entertainment also i wish there were more episodes. i really enjoyed the bloopers at the end of each episode.nice background music when they are at the restaurant. i like spanish version of "Couleur Café" in episode 7! :D good drama
i always like it when there is a little magic... very entertaining... good story and acting. the time crossing gives funny moments. Lee Tae Sung is very good in this. very good villain. how bad are Tae Mu and Se Na!!! with familly members like that, you dont need ennemies!!! hehe first time i see Jeong Yu Mi with such an important role. she definitely worked on her elocution. good for her. i remember her from 동이 and 보석비빔밥! :) i must say i'm not of a fan of Micky. i've seen성균관 스캔들. he is a good actor but i dont like those actors who are so "clean". i dont know how to explain. he is like a younger version of Jeong Wu Seong. a bit boring for me. but overall, this drama is really good. i give 4 stars and a half... :)
an another very good historical drama. the story is quite sad though. beautiful hanbok, hair styling and ornaments all along... i love the scene when Jin Yi performs the geommu on the sand bank with the mistress, very nicely filmed... this drama gives the occasion to discover geommu, geomgimu, hakmu, etc... very good performances from Ha ji Won, Kim Yeong Ae and Kim Bo Yeon. i also liked the funny gisaengs, Jeong Kyeong Sun and Song Yi Wu. i wish they would have last less longer on the first love part but overall great drama.. 4 stars 1/2... :)
this is a fictional story. i loved it. the young actors are really, really good. the show dwells on them. also i like the performance of Yang Mi Kyeong, Yeon Wu's mother. she's really touching. the story is solid and as always, i love the costumes... i give 4 stars 1/2. :D
personally i really enjoyed this. Really good story. Very good perf' by Lee Seung Gi. Ha Ji Won just does her thing. Very, very good perf' by Lee Yun Ji but, I must say the best of the best is Yun Je Mun. He is simply outstanding here. He incarnates this psycho brilliantly. this drama has all the ingredients: thrill, action, politics, drama, corruption, betrayal and of course... love! I simply loved it. i give 5 stars. just one question: is Ha Ji Won's accent really North Korean?
good entertainment... i'm not fond of the last episodes that i find a little weak... i like the poetry side... that was a cute drama. i give 3 stars and half.
the drama started off pretty nicely... it is strange mix of realistic special effects and fantastic fight scenes in the trees.. there is a lot of cable work Hong Kong style. u may like it or not. i personally don't mind. it gets boring around episode 10. the passage in the cave was too long... the final scene though is really good. i liked it. overall i give 3 stars and half...
the story is good but i find Baek Rok reasons to leave his love to his brother in the first place a little too weak... plus, this drama would have been much better without all those gory fight scenes... i don't particularly enjoy seeing arms, legs and heads flying around with huge splashes of blood... i give 4 stars...
search for power is always the same, in any kind of environment.... alliances, betrayal, collateral damages, etc... a lot of tension in this drama. very good performance from Kim Myeong Min.. very good story. good cast. i recommend that. 4 stars 1/2
i really enjoyed that. i didnt like Wang Hweng Bo's character. it was really weird, the way he walks and all the weird noises hedoes but i have to admit it's true performance from Park Cheol Min. i found the Monk really cool but my favorite was Geol Chi, no question asked! Mo Pal Mo, i cant forget him!!! hehe i found this drama better that Iljimae (Lee Jun Ki). i really liked the fight scenes here. plus there was a featuring of Infinity Of Sound. great! i give 4 stars 1/2... :D

this drama is off the hook. never laughed that much watching a drama... Kim Seon Ah is excellent. i really liked her in "City Hall" but here, she's just awesome! she has a strong comedic power if i can say so. she doesnt even need to talk, her facial expressions and body language do all the work... so funny :) her and Hyeon Bin had great chemistry... good balance between comedic and emotional sequences. also loved the side love story between the sister and the chef... nicely done! i love. it's in my top 10!!! ^_^
this is an intense story from the very start... in terms of intensity i'd say it's very similar to My Happy Home... it's not so much about romance but secrets, betrayal, conspiracy and vengeance and overcoming obstacles... the symbolic of bread is also quite interesting in this drama... i just love it. that is great melodrama!!! i love Ma Jun's mother performance, she's great. and Kim Tak Ku is an awesome character. Ma Jun's character is very childish and annoying. he's the character i like the least. Yu Kyeong ending up with Ma Jun is understandable considering their respective past. great acting from all actors... thumbs up for this one! :D
very good directing, realization... very modern editing. very solid stories. very good acting. if you don't like crime scenes, avoid this show... since it's a vampire story, you can guess without watching what his abilities are but this shouldnt stop you from watching. each episode has it's own chore and there is one main story that connects all the episodes... i like this kind of format because it allows you to see a greater cast (like in Sign, for example). i loved this... 5 stars! =)
i loooOOOoooved it. very entertaining, moving and romantic. the 2 leading actors are great together... i just love Kim Seon Ah. watched it a second time and i felt exactly the same despite the fact i already knew the story. the OST is good. especially 그래 나를 믿자 by 정인 and 불안한 사랑 by 최호란 (absolutely gorgeous song). you wont waste your time with this one!!! it's good! 좋아요!!! i give 4 stars and half... ^_^
ok it was fun overall... great cast, the story is solid. great chemistry between Lee Beom Su and Jeong Ryeo Won... those two are really good actors... i wish they had put less ridiculous scenes between episode 3 and 12... after that it gets better... i see what was their intent but too much ridicule kills the ridicule... without a few scenes, it would have been perfect... i give 4 stars...
[SPOILER]5 stars!!! i loved it. so good. great story. lots of tension, emotions, sensuality. the love triangle is interesting.both Yun Bok-Hong Do and Yun Bok-Jeong Hyang have goodchemistry. they work well together. interesting enough Moon Chae Won And Moon Geun Young have won best couple award @ 2008 SBS Drama awards (youtube.com/watch?v=WweQ6ZMP1a4). the only down side is that the bad guys (the dowager queen, the merchant, Yun-Bok's stepfather who messed her up for his own sake...) are not really punished to my taste. i really had a great time and the paintings are often really beautiful... royal painter Shin Yun Bok was really good... very nicely done ^_^ i'd say to finish, this drama is a must see!

had a blast! one of the best dramas i've seen! that was sooooo moving... Lee Se Ryeong's family as the Capulets and Kim Seung Yu's as the Montagues!!^^ i love Moon Chae Won, really good actress, she conveys emotions really well... :) Song Jong Ho is excellent in his part... the story is well written, not difficult to follow despite all the destinies intertwined... real love stronger than anything else despite all the suffering... i think it is a universal story... several days after viewing the final episode, i'm still emotional about it.. .such a touching story... i loved it! 5 stars!!
[SPOILER]the show is not bad. there are a lot of hilarious moments. the main character of the show or at least the character who makes it lively is Seung Yeon, the little secretary. she's cute and funny. she should have been a bigger winner in the end. also, i don't know if you will agree with me but the publisher/writer relationship is akward, too complicated and gets boring. i skipped several scenes because of that and i dont get how they end up together cause i didnt feel any emotion, chemistry going or love growing up between them. disappointing ending :/ also Lee Jin Soo's character keeps getting on my nerves. i find him a real jerk until the end. even if he tries to act good here and there, he's never really honest and genuine about it and it doesn't make it up for all the mean things he says to others. he never acknowledges Seung Yeon. not loveable at all. also the dance music coming up all the time is seriously annoying... i would have put 2 stars only if it wasn't for Ham Eun Jung's performance.
the reviews kind of deceived me. this is not much of a melodrama (no one dies...). rather typical romantic comedy. Rain's character was a bit annoying and childish. yelling a bit too much to my taste. the drama was ok. there were some technical issues like in one of the kitchen scenes, the ambiant sound is not even. overall acting was good. the story line is ok. i would have loved Yeong Jae's family more involved in the end. i had a good time but nothing extra ordinary. i give 4 stars...
great historical drama about King Sejong achievement in creating the korean writing system, Hangeul... great cast. great perf by Han Seok Kyu. Jang Hyeok is a good actor but his yelling and crying annoys me a bit. solid story. great production. i give 4 stars 1/2... :)
[SPOILER]i was surprised how good Uee can act. the drama was good. i tried golf myself and it was surprisingly fun despite body aches the next day so i got some interest in this one...^^ my favorite character is Mi Soo's mother. the cast is really good anyway. i recognized several very good actors. i don't agree with the ending though... it's "unnatural" in terms of story flow. you can see the writers were heading to turn Mi Su and John Lee into lovers and suddenly they changed it toreunite Hae Ryung and John Lee... i give 4 stars.

this show was great. nice actors, nice story, nice music, nice food. makes me wanna cook... ;) i have a special congrats to address the team who took care of the lighting. it's great quality of light in each and everyone of the episodes which adds great value to the show i think... Lee Sun Gyun yells a lot. i guess he must have prepared specifically for this role. he delivered a great performance and i love his voice. it's very smooth. i've already noticed him in Coffee Prince. overall it's a great romantic comedy. loved it. 5stars!!!
this drama delivers a very different taste compared to other dramas. it's comedic with a slightly offbeat humour but still it keeps its thriller/mystery characteristic. great cast and Shin Ha Kyun is an excellent actor. nice storyline and the gregorian chants and jewish music give a really different atmosphere. at times it makes me think a bit of Pulp Fiction, it has this Tarentino flavor... i like it very much! 4 and 1/2 stars :D
very original. good acting. very good editing, photography. i really liked it. but the ending makes me think about the french movies with no end (french are specialists for that). so frustrating. i don't like it. it's too open. you expect more. i know it's done on purpose but i don't like this feeling... i would have given 5 stars without that. i give 4 stars and half... :) that said, i had a very good time. definitely worth watching. :)

what to say... 5 stars!!! this is absolutely a must-see. for those who dont love politics and conspiracy stuff, they may find it boring and skip it. i almost did the same mistake. i hold it through the first 3 episodes or so before getting into the story. you have to get into the conspiracy stuff to understand the interest of the whole story. i absolutely loved it. i found it well balanced with comedy, action and emotions... one of the best drama i've watched so far. the scenery, the sets, the costumes are gorgeous. very good music. excellent lighting. excellent cast. this is a great production. i find this battle for power interesting as you see one person rising to the top using dirty, even bloody hands and the other one doesnt really care about reaching the top but she does so because she's being good, faithful and fair to people around her. Ji Jin Hee, Han Hyo Joo and Lee So Yeon are absolutely great in their respective parts. the show really dwells on them. i just loved it.
[SPOILER]great cast although i believe they chose "Kyle" only for his Korean level because his acting... fave characters: Ruby, her parents & grandmas & Kkeutsun. great job with the cute toddler, i guess that wasnt easy. lots of funny scenes. just seeing the halmonis dancing to Abracadabra is a pearl... :D thumbs up to Hong YuJin, great performance as demential mother. good thing drama talks a lot about Korean traditions... 2 things bother me though. 1st, i dont think the story is well balanced between the beginning & the end of the drama. the ending is rushed. i like that they show what several characters have become but it would have been better to shorten some parts earlier in the story and develop the conclusion. 2nd, i'm really unhappy with Ruby's story ending. what woman would accept to marry a guy whose mother hates her and who ditched her twice to walk another girl to the altar??? completely unbelievable. she should have ended up with Kyle. anyways, i enjoyed this drama. 4 stars. :)
[SPOILER]this started slowly but got more interesting as the characters unveil their true nature... good perf from actors... i love Hong Ji Min, she's so funny!^^ So Yi Hyeon has a real comedic power and she can act dramatic moments well too. i think she's a natural actress. she conveys emotions really well, i love her!^^ the ending is soso... i love Geon Su's story ending but why the f$&% does Dr Choi come back??? plus nurse Gi Nam doesnt make any choice!!! WTF!!! i give 3 and 1/2 stars overall...
even after reading the "real story" on the internet, this drama is difficult to follow. second time i try... i think i'll watch it again when my korean will be better because there's a lot of things i didn't get. writers... thumbs down... it can't be a win each time! i give the average passing mark 2 stars 1/2...
this doc makes me think of this other one i saw in Louisiana, where black and white kids, although attending the same school, use to do things completely separately. i think this is very symptomatic of American society. in France, i always grew up with the world. government managed immigration in such way that white people would live downtown and all the immigrant families would live outside the town in big blocks. if you visit the schools in those areas, it is not rare to find 20, 30 different countries represented in one classroom... white, black, arabic, indian, chinese, etc. so that ,generally, people are aware of other peoples' ways and customs...
Kim Nam Giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiil! ^^ oh i must say, i looooove historical dramas so i think i am biased here but this was very good. Go Hyeon Jeong was a magnificent villain, i love this actress, she's just awesome!!! i give 5 stars of course! :D
overall i had a good time watching this... - bad points: the comic book approach is uneven (sometimes it's hilarious and sometimes it's extremely weird or even ridiculous); Chi Su and So Yi are really annoying; Kang Hyeok a little too passive, kissing scenes are unnatural and awkward (it is so in a lot of dramas but here it's really bad...) - good points: Chi Su's father is funny,... my favorite characters are Dong Ju, Ba Wul and Eun Bi! :) overall good drama but nothing extraordinary... this said, most of korean dramas are good and make you have a good time. i think it's really hard for writers to come up with THE idea that would make the drama exceptional... the only drama i consider "bad" so far is Attic Cat.... i give 3 stars 1/2...
the drama is good but i still put IRIS first. very good perf by Minho but at some point, i felt the story was repeating itself so it was a bit less interesting until the final episodes. of course, if you're in love with the lead actor you will tell me this series is absolutely the best you've ever seen! lol very good cast, good fights and action scenes. Young Joo is a really too stiff character... happy to see Hwang Sun Hee in very different role than in Sign. my favorite characters: Min Yeong (Na Na), Kwang Suuuuuu (Ki Jun)!^^ and Sang Ho (Shik Jung). according to what i heard from manga people, the drama is really different from original story. so it could be disappointing to some. if you don't know the manga, then it's quite enjoyable. i give 4 stars...
love story. what does the guy say in Chinese when he bends over her??? all i got was "ni hao" and "wo ai ni"... that's the only expressions i know in Chinese with "shieshie"... :(
cant say i like it and can't say i don't. that is very conceptual.. very weird... they all speak Chinese and play mahjong in Chinese...
she doesn't have much and always stayed in the same place all her life and yet her life is full of drama. it would be a great drama series... abandoned child, unfulfilled love, disease, etc. wow... and all this is shown with so much simplicity. they have almost nothing and yet, i can feel what looks like love, if not, at least care... very touching... :)
first time i see a show like this. pretty original... i had a great time and it's truly touching... i think men should watch it to feel reassured and women should watch it to understand men a little more... highly recommended! :)
i just loved it!!! :D but, come on! ep.12 @14:00:00 you wanna make me believe that Lee Young Ae has such huge hands!!! lol my fave characters are the king, Min Jeong Ho, Lady Choi (she's a great villain), Jang Geum's adoptive parents (hilarious) and Lady Min & the girl who eats all the time. drama about political influence, gap between rich and poor, the place of women in Choseon society.... i really enjoyed it. great drama, great cast, great sets... i love historical dramas... :D
this is a more adult oriented drama. very interesting. nice comedic situations and hilarious moments (like the toilet scenes, Yi Hyeon is a very good and funny actress, i love her!^^). the cast and the story overall is good. the storyline is quite realistic up to some extent although i keep thinking something is missing. i don't know what... anyways, it's definitely worth a watch... 4 stars...
i must say it was really entertaining, one of the best drama i've watched in that genre (melodrama). now that i've watched Kim Tak Ku, i think i will put this one second, but not by far because it's excellent too. good pace. very good acting. the scenario wasn't dragging unnecessarily. it's not overly dramatic. writers, thumbs up!!! :) i really enjoyed it. and i love the fact that the bad are punished in the end, which is not always the case... definitely worth watching. 5 stars! :)
it's only 4 episodes but it took me forever to finish it... despite some funny scenes, it was really hard for me to focus and not ending up doing something else... definitely lack something... i cant really define what because it is well filmed and the actors are good... i don't know... i give it 3 stars and half...
this is a good series but very different from what i've watched so far... different way of filming. some framing and angles are a bit disturbing... i very much like the tones and lightening though... good make up. the story is interesting but i'm a little lost. i think i'll have to watch it a second time to fully grasp it...

after watching the whole stuff, i must say it gets weaker in some episodes. i think it's always the same thing when producers want to make a 50 episode story when they can do it in 30 or 40... overall it's a good drama. i loved the side stories with the kid Eo Jin. he's so cute. :) i was more interested by the love story between Dong Ah & Yoon Seo than by the one between Jin Jin & Kang Suk. loved Kim Young Ok's character. so sweet. Ban Hyo Jung always delivers strong performances; i just love her. oh and i forgot the side love story of the vocal coach and the manager... they just cracked me up! the best comedic scenes of that show i believe... ^_^ outstanding performance from Lee Jong Won. in this drama, he's like the Korean "J.R.", if you know what i mean... :D several cast members already work together in Jewel Bibimbap so i guess it brought even more harmony among the cast members. i had fun with this drama. it's worth watching, i believe...
one word to describe: intense! great story. nice actors. a lot of suspense. i like they embedded several crime stories inside the main one. i love the fact that 2 actors seen in other series as comedic acts play killers here. we discover them in another angle. Ms Kang, so pretty, is perfect in her role and really gets scary. it kept me wanting more all along the episodes and the ending is surprising. i don't understand why would anyone give less than 4 stars. i loved it. it's perfect.
i liked it. it's an historical drama but still modern as they chose to use contemporary music instead of traditional... i really enjoyed it. the storyline is nice. the villains are really good. really nice cast here... good performance from the lead actors... but if i was the girl, i would definetely have preferred Jae Shin over Seon Joon! hehehe overall that's a good drama... 4 and 1/2 stars... :)
the way Yi Han was introduced, i thought it would have been more interesting. it was full of promises but the story wasnt developped well. the writers fell into cliches instead of keeping it original. also, the mother is way too naive at times. it's somewhat annoying. on the other hand, the kids delivered really good performances. :) not because she's Janice but because she's Byun Jung Soo, she delivered a great performance too. Janice is an interesting character and her performance let us know about the differents sides of her, her complexity and vulnerability. Byun Jung Soo is one of my favorite actress and, here again, she does something great. Gi Roo's character was also interesting and had some good moments... good acting overall, i just think the story is weak compared to what i had expected. they could have tried very different things... i give 3 stars 1/2.

this drama is good. well balance between hilarious comedy and emotional scenes. but you can fairly say that the first half of the show is more comedic than the second one.... Park Jin Hee is excellent. i would have appreciated more from Kim Bum who seems limited to 4 or 5 facial expressions... good story overall. the only weak point i feel is the story between Boo Ki and Myeong Seok was just starting by the end of the drama and therefore wasnt really developped... too bad! overall i really enjoyed this drama. worth watching... :)

i've been advised to watch this by one of my friends and was discouraged by the number of episodes... i don't regret that i finally surrendered... this is really good. Mo Palmo's face is funny. he's my favorite character! also Youngpo's mean look is something; everytime he does it, i feel like a music is gonna come up like in the classic decisive suspense moment when you hear a low trumpet go "ta ta ta"... :) all in all, this saga is excellent. great production. the cast did a great job. special mention to Kim Seung Soo, great anger/madness scenes... scary... i loved this drama! 고맙습니다 :)
i really liked it. it's intriguing from the start and keep you wanting more... very enjoyable. not overly dramatic and nice moments of comedy. Cha In Pyo's character is so different here compared to Deamul's. you can appreciate his talent. nice performance. very good movie! :)

i am simply amazed by the quality of this drama. excellent image and lighting quality. the scenario is excellent as well. i loved the action scenes and the soundtrack is fabulous. i absolutely love "잊지 말아요" title by 백지영. even the instrumental pieces by 이동준 are gorgeous. beautiful cast. the actors are great. Kim So Yeon just kicks asses here. i love it! :) this drama is so good... i have watched about 50 dramas and IRIS is still in my top 3. of course, if you don't like spy or action stories, don't even bother watching because that is all it is, all the way!!! :D
i've seen similar movies in the past, either more dramatic or more comedic... french movie, african movie... this subject is quite universal. nothing out of the extraordinary. just the asian flavour added to it... i liked it. good cast, nice atmosphere... it's what i call a good "family" story... i like those movies. they make you wonder how you define family and filiation... interesting movie... :)

it's not my favorite style but i have to say it's pretty good. well written. i like the way we get insights of Insun's state of mind. good cast. good ending. although it makes you cry along the way, it ends with a smile. really, give it a try. worth watching... :)

Daeeeeeee Han Min Guk!!! clap-clap clap-clap clap!!! fun drama to watch… the lead couple is really cute… i have a huge doubt about the lead actress perm in the first episodes (to put it nicely!). that’s the best role i’ve seen Ryu Soo Young in so far. in Bad Couple and Athena, he was too “clean” and righteous. the good guy always doing the right thing. kind of boring thing. this role is more interesting, i think… good acting, lighting, story… Kdrama have this thing to portray absolutely abnoxious mother-in-law and the actresses are just great at it. a pure delight… had a good time!
enjoyed the music but the story hasn't been fully developped i believe. i ended up the drama wondering about what happens to several characters. it's not clear at all. i believe the writers wanted to explore too many things at a time and ended up giving up on storylines, or, they have been asked to cut off the amount of episodes.... anyways, i feel like the writing process has been rushed... too bad, otherwise it would have had more impact. also this drama lacks romance...

Lee Min Ki's character is excellent and really steals the show. i laughed my ass off numerous times. i loved his facial expressions. just hilarious!!! and he spoke in Swahili!!! :D Yoo Jin's dialect is great!!! she's much better here than in Creating Destiny. i spent a very good time. a lot of emotions... thank you for this one! highly recommended. 4 stars 1/2 :D

nice and strong story. very "real" story. good cast and good acting. i just wonder if any guy can be as innocent as Gi Chan... that is unbelievable to me. he is too clueless about what is going on around him... after Athena and this one, i wish to see Ryu Soo Young in a less "proper" role. that would be nice. just love Byun Jung Soo and the little girl is so cute... i really enjoyed it..
wanted to watch it for a while... thank you, Drama Fever !!!! sweet fantasy/love story... :) i just love Han Hyo Joo. she's lovely and fresh. one of my favorite Korean actresses... ^_^
i watched it entirely and i'm left with a feeling that something is missing. never really got into the story. never got the tear coming up or the real laughter. the actors were good though. it was just an OK drama, i guess. i believe the environment they chose, even if well portrayed, is too complex to develop an exciting story. it's more a reflective drama than anything else. at times, i had the feeling i was watching an independent movie. it is not necessarily bad but that is not what i'm searching for in a drama...
i liked it though i wish it was a bit shorter, 16 or 20 episodes would have been enough. nice story. i like vengeance stories in general. this one is good but a little too many people die in this... i enjoyed the scenes between Vivian and Jang Ho, very funny... Han Go Eun is a very beautiful woman... good perf by all actors... i'm not really fond of Michael's 1st HQ with all the blue light and futuristic stuff going on... especially with the chair in the middle, it makes me think of Star Trek and this doesn't really fit with the rest of the show... overall it was good. good action scenes... :)
i really enjoyed it... a mix of Sex N the City & Friends with 김치 topping, i'd say... it's much different from everything i've seen so far. it's a real challenge in terms of story telling, flashbacks and different versions of the same scene... good balance of grotesque, comedy, emotional and romantic sequences... i guess they had lots of fun doing it. i had a lot of fun watching it. and the OST is amazing. the guys who selected the songs did a real search... it's a real beauty! watch this, you wont regret it... ;)
i wasnt definitely certain to enjoy it. very slow start. the girl was annoying and i almost dropped it but as i knew kdramas often get better afterwards i hung in there. i learned to like Sangshil/Anna character. really enjoyed it towards the end. like Kandja character and the kids, so cute... :) too bad i often have to wait several episodes before really enjoying the drama but all in all it was good.
i liked it but i agree with other viewers. with a little more romance it would have been much better. it would have counter-balance the apparent coldness of Yeon Woo...
i wouldnt say it's a real spin-off since none of the main characters from IRIS appear as main character here. we have a feature of General Park and a quick apparition of Seon Hwa. I love those actors, Kim Seung Woo and Kim So Yeon, but their presence seems a little bit forced here and since some elements are left out, like Seon Hwa's vengeance, i guess there is a 3rd episode on the way. i'm not really satisfied with the story. Jung Woo is a little too clean and righteous to my taste. also i wouldnt have "killed" Jae Hee's character. on the other hand, Cha Seung Won is perfect in his role. as a whole, Athena is still enjoyable. good action sequences but still, it is not as good as IRIS. if you love action drama, that is what you want to take a look at...
OMG, Byun Jung Soo's scene in hospital is hilarious!!! she's just great. she goes all the way... i love this actress! nice story. had a good time. i loved Jun Do Yeon laugh, very communicative... the thing i really didn't see coming is the flip that YaeRin does early on in the story, suddenly leaving BaDah for DoHun. it serves the plot ok but it's weak because it doesnt really make sense on it's own... also technically, i always notice "mike" mistakes (mikes coming into the frame). i hate that. so i can't give half a point there so this drama would rate at 3 1/2 stars for "good"... anyways, it is worth watching... had a good time! :)

best political drama i've watched. i loved it. the story is very well written though i dont think they needed the first 3 or 4 entire episodes to explain the past. they could have just incorporated it in the present time action as flash backs here and there but the scenario is very good. love and hate, vengeance and sacrifice, secrecy and intertwined fates... i believed in Jae Ha/Su Ho tormented mind. very good cast. i recognized several good actors... the lighting is great. the photography is splendid, especially the scenes in Cheongsan Island. the scenes where the kids are going to school or when they play hide-and-seek in the fields are amazing. absolutely gorgeous colors and image composition. 2 thumbs up for that part!!! why "minus 1/2": they did several technical mistakes i know, you'll tell me it's just details but i'm the kind of person who is really disturbed when something like that happens. i always notice it. i just hate it. that's why... but overall, it's really good. it's a must-see for me... :)
it's a good drama overall. i've been impressed by 비. didnt know he could be so funny. i like Daniel Henney but his weak point is that he lacks facial expressions. he puts on a serious mask and never removes it. too bad. his face could be more relaxed and alive and still serious. Sung Dong Il and Lee Na Young are perfect. love the woman cop character. she's cute. overall, good cast. good story. the pace is unbalanced as they start strong with a lot of action scenes and then halfway they put much talk and it just drags a bit... still enjoyable.
this drama takes waaaaay too much time to take off. it only becomes a little interesting around the 10th episode but it never really takes off... too bad. i love Kim Rae Won, he's a great actor but his character here is soooooo annoying and the girl is stupid. she doesnt have normal reactions... the ending is so so. not satisfying at all...
Yoon Eun Hye and Gong Yoo performances are excellent. the grandma is great. i have a thing for halmuni. the grandmas portrayed in kdramas are so funny. i love them all. this drama is so full of funny moments and also very emotional. the homosexuality theme is very tricky to deal with but i found it has been very smoothly treated. thumbs up for the writers. also the OST is absolutely gorgeous. they chose the music very nicely. plus, i love Tearliner's music. so far, Coffee Prince is in my top 5 Kdrama series. yes, fun and emotional. a must-see! ^_^
i liked it. i would have given 3 stars 1/2 if possible. it was just a little bit long. they could have shorten it by at least 10 episodes i think. my favorite characters: Halmoni and Harabuji !!! they were great. the lead actress is missing some facial expression i think. a little bit boring to watch but overall it's a good drama...
really really nicely done, i loved everything, the characters, the scenario. great story, great acttors. i bet Kim Mi Sook had a blast playing such an evil character. she added a lot to the story because you so want to "kill" her character... the OST is nice. the story is so well written. each episode got me hanging there and wanting more... i had to watch 2 to 4 episodes a day... finished it in less than 9 days... i know, i'm crazy! highly recommended! thank you for posting it!!! :D
i love Kim Rae Won so i was really expecting a lot from it. it started all right but i didnt like the development... the story line is heavily dramatic and leaves you with a weird sensation... not my thing at all. i got the same kind of feeling as when i watched "What happened in Bali". the writers go to the extremes and we loose the "entertaining" dimension. i know that some people love those kind of stories though but definitely not for me...
this is really a melodrama. complicated relationships the ending is too extreme for me. i probably wouldn't have watched it if i had known the ending prior viewing it. not my thing but i know some people just love that. still it's a good drama.
i enjoyed it overall... the girl annoys me at times.. i guess i really don't like spoiled-girl characters. it just gets on my nerves but that means they are good at it, right? Oh Ji Ho performance is not bad. it's a good story but it gets a bit confused here and there. they could have dropped some elements to make it clearer. as always, there are good comedic scenes that are worth watching.
i like the fact that all the dialogs are drowned into the music just like the prodigy has drowned into it to the point she suffocates... nicely done...
i had a great time watching this even if at first, i was taken aback by the style. Shin Min Ah's performance is off the hook and because she's really good, she makes it all work and has a good chemistry with Lee Seung Gi. i just loved the OST especially the song 여우비 (Fox Rain). i loved this drama!!!! like Gu Miho says: 너무 너무 너무 너무 너무 너무 너무 좋아 !!! lol
i had a good time but i wonder about the image quality. it's recent drama but it is filmed like it's in the 80s. i wonder why they would choose to film it like that. i can see they spend a lot of money on the production though. we travel around the world with this drama AND they got the collaboration of Cirque du Soleil which is a great deal knowing how Cirque du Soleil control their image. for me, the image is really important so they loose a star over that but all in all, i had a good time watching this.
overall it was good. i had a good time. i like the story. i liked the quid-pro-quo that ignite the story. there are some funny scenes. it's just Hye Mi's character. i found her annoying and useless. instead, they could have involved In Hee a little more... anyways. i enjoyed it.
the story is good. i've found out it's an adaptation of a manga. since i havent read it i cant compare but i really liked the story. i liked the way Jan Di kind of crush the bubble F4 was living in and drive them back to reality. i liked it. it's just the musician, Ji Hoo, that ennoys me. loved Lee Hye Young, Lee Min Ho and Kim Bum performances. i had a good time. 4 stars.
nicely produced. i love the cast. each actor is perfect in their role. nice photography, lighting, acting... Kim Nam Gil is excellent... the only thing is that it's way too sad for me... i'm disappointed by the end. the real bad guys are not punished so i give 4 stars instead of 5.
it's quite funny. my first Kdrama experience... loved the main characters game. this drama invited me for more... now, i'm hooked on kdrama.
i'm glad i didnt stay on my first impression. since i'm really not fond of baseball, the title really repulsed me at first. i had to come across the page like 20 times before clicking on "play" and i'm glad i did. i had a very great time. i like the complicity displayed between both lead characters. i'm not too keen of the end though. i liked the complexity of the characters, how they show that finding the right love is not that easy...i like that they spent time and probably money on nice lighting set-ups, indoors AND outdoors not as good as "Pasta" but still good compared to other series... i really enjoyed my time... thank you for this one, very well done! :)
