I am too old for this genre.

A Huey helicopter shown in the Episode 4 was not introduced until1960 - a decade after the time period of this drama. Fine script, action sequences and acting add up to an absorbing war drama.

too much Ahjuma ingredient in this recipe.

Modern Korean history from a moderately liberal perspective, IMHO.

Wonder if the same writers and/or producers are involved.

A skid downhill after the first episode.

Isn't this why they say, "Everything in moderation," including love?

That is, if you are willing to forgive the dramatic liberties.

Does living a double-, triple-life make even superstars emotionally unstable?

Great concept and wonderful script/conversation help this drama get away with revised history, as usual. And, aren't lead actors and actresses easy on your eyes?

Isn't this drama a mega-hit in making with great conversations and plot twists supported by lively Ha Ji Won and convoluted Lee Seung Gi? Kudos for a credible portrayal of North Korean psyche, dialect and lifestyle such as subway, uniform/fashion, political posters and outdated technologies. Translation, though marred by inaccuracies once in a while (pardon my nit-picking), conveys Korean thoughts and feelings into polished American English wonderfully.

... with a back-handed endorsement of homosexual love.

Don't our words and actions have consequences beyond our perceived reality? Wonderful sound tracks.

If you want some laughter, a healthy therapy BTW, without taxing your brain cells much, this is not a poor choice.

If you want a hilarious corporate drama that does not tax your brain cells, or zoom your Kleenex bill this drama could be as good as any other.

Not so much for dashing action scenes but for clever conversation and the noble "faith" of the City Hunter.

Fine dramatization of last years of the Joseon dynasty, Korean caste system, Japanese scheme to colonize Korea, patriotic resistance to it and contributions of American (medical) missionaries to modernization of Korea.

Doesn't this drama encourage viewers to pursue excellence no matter what they do?

School can push one to his limits but doesn't it also help him become a better human being?

how can I overlook crude language and low class modus operandi?

Busy viewers may want to skip every other episode.

Where have Korean guys lost their backbones?

The high school campus is in north Seoul, not in Choon-cheon as this drama suggests.

Who says doctors have easy lives? My grandfather passed away from exhaustion.

but well done, IMHO.

Doesn't this drama make you proud to speak, read and write Korean language?
