I'm glued to each episode. Great plots. I can't help, but feel sorry for Dr. Lee's character. He has fight every step of the way to advance his career and asked to take the blame/the fall. All those character doctors played well for their parts; they cover their own backs like in real life. Someone has to take the fall.

Love the mixture of modern and past glories in this drama. It also gives us a better understanding of Korea and its people's suffering throughout the history of being invaded by Japan more than once along with China and Mongols. The Kang San character is under-rated. If the title of the drama is Bridal Mask, then more focus should be given to Kang San character. The actor is very good in all the action scenes and in playing dumb. Glad that Kang To is finally trying to avenge his father's death and killed the bastard that shot his mother. Kimura Shunzi is a psycho and monster in disguise. His eyes bulged out and exerted tremendous violence in beating the Captain and then kicked one of his subordinates to thel pulp while he was on the floor. They should put a bullet in his head at the end of the series. Disappointed in the female lead. She is useless, not sophisticated enough and is a hindrance for everyone's safety in every scene. Hope that they kill her off in the series soon.

The unfolding of each episode and the suspense keep me glued to this drama. Love it. Great actors and it is so realistic. Can be as good as Jumong! Song Yi's character is somewhat out of place. She is obsessive and overbearing. Her personality and lines are too much tied to the modern times. She is evil. She knew what was happening and that they were planning to harm Wol A. I sincerely hope that she gets killed off. I like her description of what slaves are in the earlier scenes...they are trash, lower than... and she is the master. If that is the case, then she is master of trash! It makes me giggle each time I think of it. I admire Yangbaek character who had only few lines. The actor did a great job through his acting communicating to the audience the unspoken words, the thoughts, intentions and emotions. He is the most logical character of all the warriors in this drama. For some reason, Anshim character is a total turn off for me at this point, episode 32/33.
