There's no other way to describe how epically stirring this drama is. It is not a drama. It's a life story.. Of high expectations, of pride, of tear-inducing relationships, of loneliness, of unbreakable bonds, and of love. Not only is the script well written, the timing is flawless and the actors play imperfect roles perfectly. This drama isn't made for teenagers, even though it's as angsty as it is. It's made to reignite whatever drive you left behind at some point in your life. This drama will fill you to the brim with happiness, drain you with its sadness, and leaves you with overflowing joy. PRESS PLAY!

Seriously, I can watch them knitting for hours on end without getting bored. Their chemistry seems so real because it WAS real. This was their love story, people. They actually got married! Other than the main couple, everything else was just mediocre. The writing was average but the directing was mehhh. I really liked the Grandparents! Watch this for Eugene and Tae Young!!! <33333

Ladies and gentlemen, get your tissues out, because you'll be shedding a billion litres of tears. I don't even cry in most dramas, but you grow to love each character so much, and each of them, from Bom to Young Shin, will touch your hearts. I guarantee it. (If you have a heart, that is.) When happy things happen to them you'll jump for joy, when they kiss you'll feel their love, when they cry you'll cry with them. It's like they're your family for 16 hours. 16 blissful hours. So enjoy it while it lasts, and let this drama take your heart to places it probably has never gone before...

This really goes to show that "old" dramas can still hit that spot! Unbelievably realistic and addictive. Best friends who have always been more than friends, that ultimate love story. What I LOVED the most about this drama is that none of the supporting roles are villains or antagonists, it made the whole story way more enjoyable and meaningful. I will FOREVER ship HyungHee Couple. They are soo... REAL. Oh and P.S., the OST is the kind that gets stuck in your head weeks after you're done watching it. ENJOOOY!

While everyone sings high praises for Park Shi Hoo (which I honestly can't argue), I will dedicate my review solely on Moon Chae Won. I'm not going to lie, I started off hating her because of the role she played in Shining Inheritance, but holy cow is she versatile! Her acting was so incredible that I had shed every bad perception of her almost instantly. At times, her emotions were so... RAW... that it was truly impossible for me to accept the fact that she was acting and not actually in pain, crying, or whatnot. The love portrayed between her and shi hoo was extremely moving and the battle Chae Won had within herself was throroughly presented and was undeniably realistic. She played a character that was not all innocent and good 24/7, which is not often seen in sageuk dramas, and that made her character relatable. To me, at least. I am so passionate about how well this drama was executed and I hope that you will yield the same emotions after watching this absolutely fantastic drama!

I'm watched over 100 dramas and by far, this is the closest to perfection. Perfect storyline, perfect cast, perfect script, perfect directing, perfect depiction, and most importantly the feeling... that melodramatic but not exaggerated feeling... they mastered it. If anything, it's too perfect. They stuck to the perfect drama recipe and made it stand on its own with young and talented actors. A definite must see!

Han Hyo Joo is just too lovable, isn't she? She's endearing, innocent, and friendly. She's hard to hate or be annoyed with... it's a good sign. Besides that, the first 50 episodes were GOLDEN, they really were. These episodes were were scripted, well casted, and incredibly touching. But the producers got greedy and extended the drama, and although still enjoyable, the plot was lost and the story was stretched thin. It is a good introduction to those who do not watch historicals, it really has moments that truly capture the heart. Warning: once you start, you really can't stop.

Suprisingly delicious. I seriously had such low expectations for this drama... but it turned out to be surprisingly tasty, twisted, and incredibly exciting. To top it all off, you have these incredibly handsome flower boys that are just oh soooooo yummy. Enjoy! :)

I must admit that creating a stop-motion animation short JUST to illustrate a metaphor is simply ingenious. The little sushi rolls started off pure, innocent, but ultimately tasteless. When they decided to part to learn more about themselves and the world, they grew, became colorful, and most importantly, tasty! In the end, they meet once again to create a lovely family that will make way for new, yummy children. :)

Pros: Star-studded cast. Cons:Terrible plot,Terrible chemistry, Terrible timing, Terrible directing, Terrible script. If you are a huge fan of Eun Hye (like me), SKIP THIS. SKIP THIS NOW. And go re-watch Coffee Prince or Goong. You'll thank me later.

There is just NO way a drama can be this good...

Watch it. I know what you're thinking. Oh man, another family drama. Another 40-something episodes of mindless drama that is completely exaggerated. Nope. Uh-uh. This drama is REVOLUTIONARY. It changed my outlook on family dramas, it was more than enjoyable, and most of all, Min Jung and Kyung Ho made me want to die from falling in love with them. Definitely, DEFINITELY in my Top 5 favorite Korean dramas. Don't pass up on this one, no matter what the circumstances.

The beginning, I admit, is one of those pain-in-the-butt build-ups, a trademark of the lovely Hong Sisters (the screen writers). But once you get over that period, about the third episode-ish, you just start falling in love with EVERYONE. One day you love Lee Seung Gi like you can't live without him, another day you find yourself thinking about Min Ah and questioning your sexual preference, and then suddenly you crave for No Min Woo's face like an anxious pregnant lady waiting for her ice cream! The plot is well executed. It knows when to be light-hearted and it knows when to be serious. The ending is a 50/50 depending on your own tastes, it isn't a guarantee, but I personally loved it. But I mean, you can't not like this drama. It's one of those dramas that leave you with that no-drama-can-beat-this feeling. Put up a good fight and get past those first few episodes, you won't regret it!

At first, I watched it for Sun ah and I watched it for Cha Seung Won.The plot build-up was so slow, I almost couldn't take it. But since my love for these two actors are so, SO deep, I kept watching. And OH MY GOD WAS IT WORTH IT. It's a drama chock full of ACTUAL "drama".... I swear to you, I would buy the DVD for the last three episodes alone. This drama is underrated, unappreciated, and UNDENIABLY one of the best dramas you will ever see. Don't give up on it. I dare you.

Absolutely excessively dramatic, cliche, and completely stretched out... BUT HONESTLY, it's the hottest most attractive drama I've ever watched. You will not regret it, trust me.

And thus, I am forever grateful to those who posted the 49 days BTS. Now, I can watch his beautiful face over and over again till I get tired of it. (a.k.a. NEVER). (:

I honestly thought they would not be able to pull off the supernatural concept after Secret Garden. But honestly, this concept is a THOUSAND times more realistic! I love the actors and actresses too. There are certain vibes that they are able to convey that causes you to become emotionally attached to each character. It`s different. It`s refreshing. I wouldn`t say it is the best drama I`ve ever seen, but it`s definitely up there. If you`re not sure whether or not to watch this, watch it. I guarantee you will not regret it. The overall rating speaks for itself. ;) Enjoy!
