Awesome drama. Cruel palace, indeed.

Lots of intrigue, and overall, an enjoyable show. Downgrading to four stars because Le Er and the ending were equally disappointing.

The actors are fine; it's the writing and direction that sucks. The writing and direction are choppy, mediocre and not engaging. Plus, the slow-mo fight scenes are distracting. A let down.
