They didn't let me post my review earlier, I am rewriting this because this drama is just that great. Let just say that 49 Days covered every single one of my emotions. It taught me many lessons and had me really stop and reflect on my actions and people around me. Not only that but also had me thinking about the supernatural world. Lee Yo Won acted the best double roles out of all the similar incidents in the dramas I have seen. I truly do recommend this as it flows perfectly, was very well rounded, and there are so many surprises! SPOILER Honestly the ending made me VERY sad but I also thought it was perfect in a unique way. I can't decide if I love it or hate it. However, I think the creator is amazi
I finished all 60 episodes and it was just as good as Jewel in the Palace. I researched a little and I found it amazing that on a whole, they stuck the story with what actually happened. Then, they added the little details that although made up were very believable. I thought the casting was perfect and they all made this drama amazing together. For the parts where the villains were winning, it made me so angry that I could only get through it because I know that Dong Yi will persevere in the end! I love historical dramas because of the superb character development and I can never predict what will happen, I always asked how will they get out of this??!?! Now I have major withdrawal symptoms, like always when I finish a historical drama, Yi San is next for me! SPOILER I thought the ending could have been stronger and showed us more of Dong Yi's life after that year. Also, the little girl showing up creeped me out a little haha
I saw Secret Garden first and couldn't recognize Hyun Bin haha. This drama was sooo funny and both Hyun Bin and Kin Sun Ah are amazing as always. What is unique about this drama is that it isn't about the usual skinny pretty girl, which is why it was so revolutionary to Korean dramas
