hong chamae, dae han min guk beef farmers probably lobbied you hard didn't they! I enjoyed the show because of the quick resolutions to problems in the earlier half. I loved that miho was truthful about her feelings and I loved when tae woong surprised us both with his selflessness.

There are some interesting moments but this is not a trend setter guys.

the story is adorable.

someone complained about the drama's pace. specifically that it is too slow. It is absolutely the right pace, if it moved any faster the characters would be thoroughly unlikeable, at this pace our feelings develop with the characters. someone else complained about gong hyo jin/yun ook crying every episode I can't think of another way for her to express her frustration and guilt. My only real problem with this drama is that kim rae won suffered so much. His sung joon is my favorite kim rae won character to date. I'm always raving about his work, but he was amazing. His character could easily be a pathetic guy but I keep thinking " he kept his pride even while losing his pride." this is the kind of role I want to see him play again. I give the drama three stars because I think it cheated a bit when it came to pil seung's widower stage. I thought the person he became was too typical and the drama seemed very preachy in general.

I enjoyed this show. the story telling is very similar to hong gil dong but there are very clear differences and I actually like lee jun ki's portrayal better. my rating is 3 stars because I'm disappointed with some story arcs that should have been explored but weren't ( bong sun being the seers daughter is a major one) and the ending was too full of hope. I wanted to bit more sad but I wasn't.

The show takes too long to come to a boil and it confused me I think because it was confused. I think it can be enjoyable if you haven't seen a political k-drama in awhile.

so I have beautiful memories! soulmate had more class and insight. This drama tried very hard and I was onboard up to episode 10 but things went into cliche dramatown and in a very bizarre way. I advise you to watch up to episode 10 and then watch soulmate.

This show is sooo good. If you like midas, city hunter, giant, royal family any revenge/thrillers this one does it better. It's excellent.

but then a bit odd. At some point I stopped believing that this woman could fall for that man. If you like that fool/accidental couple this one has similar notes.

I found park gae in, unappealing as a character. we're constantly told how little love she received so she makes herself a doormat or dog if she get's any attention. Okay if I think of that positively that should mean she values love more than other people, but why would she appeal to min ho? and why does min ho appeal to her? Okay forgetting her clinging and clueless personality, he's pseudo-calculative/revenge driven personality ( this show is the original lie to me isn't it!) there are some very funny moments.

to judge formula in western shows. It's not like I don't believe it happens, or that I don't notice it, it's just that the episodic nature of these shows excuses them. I'm not sure why Manny changed it's mind about being a fresh k-drama but it didn't work.

but I can't! In defense of gong hyo jin: the press conference scene when she quietly remarks about dying in episode 14; that scene could have been played loudly, with combativeness, defensively, easily but it wasn't humble nor timid either, the earlier scene when she decides to do the show with pil joo and tells jin he did get to her. Those scenes really show the kind of actress she is: Earnest comes to mind.

is beautiful to see. and the stories are so great. If you enjoyed the food and people connection stories of gourmet you will like this drama because it has art and people connections.

I first saw the episode of the drama when they mutually decided not to date ( soon young and her love interest). I am glad this drama exists so that I can show my sister how crazy korean drama mother in laws can be. the storyline is typical daytime drama stuff but surprisingly there are instances where this could be a completely different drama. The romance is good but the ending is somewhat cheesey.

the first time I watched it I made it to episode 4 the second time episode 12 and the 3rd time half way through the 14th episode. Not my kind of drama. but there are some funny and cute moments that are typical and ATYPICAL to the hong sisters.

Yes I'll believe in this drama and stick around to see cha seung won and kim sun ah burn up the screen together and separately. the first few minutes of the drama introduce us to the characters but it isn't very interesting and the first few episodes aren't really about anything but that changes so fast and in an amazing way. if you don't love it I will personally write you an apology.

Why is this show sooo amazing! It's the best of 2011 so far. Last year by this time we'd had at least 3 great dramas but this is the first one that i feel I should stick with. Once more? Kangaaah. The ending had a good balance for me. I did at first but when I watched it again it felt right. I'm glad i got to meet a han kang and jikyung and all the other characters.

the subs are bad. one example the conversation the two have about the person that are supposed to be married. the joke is lost because the play on words isn't translated well. I was trying to watch this with my sister but it's really tiring trying to figure out what the first few episodes are about. this drama has really great characters and can be really funny. It did take a ridiculous turn, but all's well that ends well.

I used to really love this drama until I saw city hall. Now I like the drama like you like a first crush when you see someone who reminds you of him ( lie to me) but is not really as good as the original.

on the one hand, no one else could've played the role like she did, on the other hand someone else should have played the role. the major problem is that they couldn't quote overboard scene for scene, theme for theme nor even paraphrase it. This show had one of my favorite drama scenes to date: kang ja unfreezing jo anna. I blubbed then! and with good reason.

so funny, so cute. I only wanted a neater ending but the ending does fit.

kim rae won stole me from the beginning. I really wish for a real life pairing of this otp.

pandae! that's my offical stance on that relationship until I'm 30 plus but this drama was cute. I wish the baebi never shaved his beard!

but kim rae won is the almost bad guy that we all dote on. you know the guy who amuses and irritates you but you can't seem to get him from under your skin, because he sees a side of you that you want everyone to see, but they can't see, because you can't show them. I wish there were more jung da bin shows like this one.

although I'd had a slight interest in him before this drama really made me miss seeing kim rae won on the screen. what is it with guys called won! his acting is not natural, it's not unnatural it just is.he draws you in so well, you don't even realize it. I felt like he and I were the best of friends I hungered with him and loved with him and I cried with him. It's a nice present he left me before going away for army duty but come back already!

if you like lee soo kyung and ryu soo young watch this drama. there are some really great story arcs and lee soo kyung is so mad and cute. exactly what she does best. that cute little bad girl!

I first saw kim mi sook in I love you don't cry and when that drama ate 3 sharks, I looked for another drama with kim mi sook and I was rewarded with this one. Thank you drama for giving your naughty characters redemption, but if you do that to bae soo bin again I will spank you!

I watched this drama while on vacation in feb. It was freezing outside so I stayed in and became an unsightly mess but I loved this show. I watched this drama for park jin hee who had recently seen and loved in the woman . . . and I fell in love with everyone else in the show. the gangmo jung yon love story is beautiful and so is the minwoo mijoo story even. this drama had a little, tiny, tiny problem at the end with it's conflicts being imaginary and I think they went a little murder crazy as well. *seungmo oppa!!!! mal anddoa! this drama allowed me to see the kim soo hyun again and that young man can act really well and if you don't believe me, just check him out in WILL IT SNOW FOR CHRISTMAS!

If you haven't seen this drama, see it right away. tang jang! It has romance like I've never seen repeated and hopefully I don't see it because I don't think anyone can do it like ryu soo young. this drama left me prejudiced against park sang min but I'm glad I was able to get over this prejudice by watching GIANT, which if you haven't seen you should see.

one of my first k-dramas and my first comedy. I had no idea k-dramas could be funny and thanks to my girl I certainly learned that. you'll laugh, you'll cry and wish that lee da hae played this kind of role more often.

I'm not totally onboard with the whole nuna dongsaeng relationship thing, but I loved the romance in this drama between the lead women and the romance the each woman had with herself. this drama is another one that kept me watching because of the fantastic soundtrack.

I liked this drama but it failed. I think the problem is that they changed their mind about taking it all the way because the actresses were still young or I don't know. Even if they didn't want to make the girls truly evil or to really fight tooth and tooth they should've written a better script with more rationale. There was good acting and some of the story arcs made sense but this isn't a drama that I'll return to unless I want to see chun jung myung smile so beautifully.

I loved this drama because it was just mad. I think dramas like these sometimes have trouble with making sense and unconscious players but this one had really great writing and lee so yon was so good. Bae soo bin also was phenom! I wish he had better writing for his49 days role because the fervor here was in that drama, but the writing didn't meet the same standards. This drama had me rooting for all the bad guys and I was dissatisfied with then ending because it was possible for both characters to have redemption I don't know why they changed their mind. I think I'll watch this again since I have a long weekend.

I enjoyed this drama while watching it but I won't watch it again, nor recommend it as a must see in any specific categories except maybe "lee hyun woo plays amazing guy but doesn't get the girl" I love lee hyun woo.

really cute in instances but this is a drama that was either too short or too long. The last few episodes made no sense.

I loved the women in this drama all of them. I loved that they all evolved. I hated some of their evolutions. I loved baek kang ho. he's my first ever k-drama love.

I think the last time I laughed this much during a drama's first episode was when I first watched my girl ( the second time around my girl wasn't that funny ). I think everything was spot on when kang ji hwan was a maniac/lunatic/prime-schemester but that park shi yon and kang ji hwan had no romantic chemistry only intellectual. I loved dong wook, I loved sung yon and halmoni. A really enjoyable drama.

Okay this drama has one of the best romantic scenes and one of the best confessions but it also has an inexplicable and equally incredible ( unbelievable) darkness. The music gave the drama a very short film/film festival feel and I think this is why I continued with it after episode 10. I haven't read the book, but if the book lost its mind the same way the drama did I'm surprised it made bestseller. Watch it for the memories of your own tae oh, I think we all have at least one. I hope we all have at least one.

I really wish this drama remembered it's point after episode 2, but it had really great band moments.

this drama had a second lead win even if technically there was no true second lead. because of this drama I almost watched prosecutor princess. I enjoyed seeing jung gyu woon and a myriad of really fit men, showing me just how fit they are.uhm tae woong of course was fantastic!

This is the first time I've ever seen kwon sang ook in a drama and I loved him. I love go hyun jung's seo hye rim, I loved the way dong ah loved her, helped her and waited for her. I can't wait to see this drama again.

I probably would never have watched this drama ( in general mbc is home to SUPER MAKJANG) except while flipping through the channels I saw the scene where yoon soo and dong ha are making plans to run away together and she's a rich girl choosing a poor boy despite parents' opposition. She was doing what I've screamed to every single k-drama chaebol/regular joe/jane couple to do when their parents disapprove since I've been watching dramas. I had to see it. Of course their story isn't that simple, but it was a beautiful love story. I love watching kang suk fall for jin jin and loved watching yoon soo and dong ha become amazing people from knowing and loving each other. I also loved foursome scenes those guys had great chemistry together. I wish they had given ji suk repentance and that there were 2 weddings!

this drama had so much unexpected depth and great acting. I am a jisung pan! what can I do, he has won me over! There are some amazing moments that had me yelling at the computer in a good way, and none that had me saying how stupid/crazy/why are you living like that? That is always a drama plus. I absolutely recommend it, don't miss it. Okay? don't! Promise me?

I really liked the character cha chunhee. I understood her and I could easily be her if I didn't have an allergy to scandal. I continued with the show because the youth actors were amazing and I had read the recaps of episode 3 and 16 on dramabeans just to be sure that the adults won't annoy me to bits and they didn't for the most part. I am unfortunately anti han yeseul but I'm trying work past that for the sake of makgulli, but I understood her portrayal even though I didn't agree with it. sun woo sun was adorable, the soundtrack is good and there is a happy ending. There isn't a neat wrap up and it can't really be described as satisfying just sort of " what good fortune", "that's a relief", "at least they're together"

I started to watch this drama when I was first watching k-dramas. I couldn't stomach how the mother in law was ruthless and I didn't think that the lead character was believable. I've since seen many k-dramas with similar spineless men and noble idiots but I still recommend you watch Soulmate instead.
