They were 1 of the most natural couples I've ever seen; very believable. Tho I wdn't rate this drama very well if it was trying to b an actual spy show, 4 what it was selling I give it 5 stars w/o hesitation. Each actor played their part very well&the plot progressed nicely. I must admit, I did find Ep17&the beginning of18slow. Other than that, SMW was an amusing ride. U cringe along with the charries, laugh when they laugh, love when they love&cry when they cry. SMW is the kind of drama that has such a good hold on the watcher's emotions, that u just want 2 tug ur hair out when u know a charrie's about2mess up. I always hold much respect4shows that can get me attached nuff 2 care 4 things like that. I liked that MW was more mature than most leading females&was actually strong enough 2 b called a heroine. The leading men were hot&I enjoyed scenes when they took their shirts off XD If u want a drama that's hilarious&romantic w/ just the right amount of action to make ur heart pound, this is the drama 2 watch!
This truly is a revenge story done right, as the summary states. The City Hunter was able to deliver the revenge that he wanted, but retain his humanity and compassion at the same time. Very admirable. The fight scenes were badass and the characters were all amazing. Loved it. I'd say the only thing that really irked me was the romance. It's not that I didn't want the two together--I did--but I felt like the way the romance was done was wrong. Sure, the scenes were sweet. I liked that. But....it was something about the refusal that bothered me every time it was brought up. For one, it was tedious. Same old argument. And they agreed every time...but still fought. I just thing the big picture wasn't written well, no fault of the cast. Llol, I think Lee Yoon Sung certainly has the most original fashion sense I've ever seen on a hero. That was always funny to me. Overall great casting and acting! Recommended to all!
This is a very poignant tale and all of the actors portrayed their necessary sorrow very well. Though I must admit, when it came time for the tear-filled scenes, I did find Han Ga In a bit lacking. But she's the exception. This is a story of love found, love lost, and the chance to regain that love that will have you snickering along with the characters at times, while at others apprehension will clutch at your heart and sorrow permeates. The edge that the shamans bring will intrigue and compel as more about the mystics is revealed. I would have preferred the action scenes done more realistically and the Prince's character more thoughtfully drawn out, but all and all, I did love this drama.
