The drama was ok though it was kind of slow, by the 12th episode I was skipping over parts of the drama to see what happens to the lead girl. I did enjoy the parts with Kwon Yuri and look forward to seeing her in other dramas as well as hearing her with SNSD. Plus she has the best shape I have ever seen on a Korean celebrity In all I felt disappointed in this drama.

I sympathize with Ri Kang Suk, if I was a North Korean who has defended Communism in the North for 30 years and married for 10 years, I wouldn't want it known that I am infactuaated with a young member of the South Korean girl group, Girls' Generation, who is roughly 30 years my junior and an American (Korean heritage of course) to boot. Not a secret you would like to be known amoung your communist buddies...

Can't wait to watch it again here. It is the first tale that I have seen that showed the desires and the struggles of Kumiho (gumiho/nine-tailed fox). It kind of merges the earlier and later thoughts on this mythical creature. Early in time it was thought that the nine-tailed fox was rather naive and it was man not the fox that was the trickster and then the darker side of the gumiho who seeks revenge. It is a touching tragedy.

First, hats off to Kim Yoo Jung!!! She is excellent as the young Yeonwoo! What an adorable and accomplished actress and she is just 12 years old! Now for the rest, this is a fast paced and enjoyable period piece drama. All the actors/actresses have done a superb job. My only regret is that I don't live in South Korea, which means that I have wait weeks before I can see the next episode. Drats!!! :(

This has been an a very interesting and entertaining drama, though not historically correct. I still loved Lee Yo Won as Deokman / Queen Seokduk. The ending was a little anticlimatic but all in all a wonderful story. I think the drama should have ended with the vanquishing of Lady Mishil and the crowning of Deokman as Queen Seon Deok. As far as the love story between Deokman/Queen Seon Deok and Lord Bidman, I think many missed the true love story, that is between her and General Kim Yushin, one that took up the majority of the series from almost the beginning until the very end.
